JoanNEWTONNée Binnington Joan died peacefully in Fairfield Hospital on 19th November 2020 aged ninety-six. Joan, the former Wife of the late GH (Jerry) Newton, was the Mother of Jill and Patrick and Grandmother of Alex and the late Kirsty. Joan lived in Ramsbottom for much of her life. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Starmount Villa Residential Care Home. She will be remembered best for her work in several local Primary schools. The funeral took place at the East Lancashire Crematorium on Monday, November 30th, 2020.
